What is Lockdown?
Lockdown is an emergency protocol that sometimes disallows people leaving their households. The protocol can usually only be initiated by someone during a position of authority. Lockdowns also can be wont to protect people inside a facility or, for instance, a computer system, from a threat or other external event. Of buildings, a drill lockdown usually means doors leading outside are locked such nobody may enter or exit. A full lockdown usually means people must stay where they’re and should not exit to another building or rooms.
In simple word
The confining of prisoners to their cells, typically in order to regain control during a riot.
“The lockdown has been in effect since October 1983”

The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has released a list of Coronavirus testing labs/ sites across Indian states. |
