Educational Qualifications

• Contractual Staff Nurse (Urban): ANM course recognized by Indian Nursing Council and registered with West Bengal Nursing Council OR GNM course from an Institute recognized by Indian Nursing Council and registered with West Bengal Nursing Council. Proficiency in Bengali and permanent residence of Cooch Behar.
• Medical Officer (UPHC & SC): MBBS from institution recognized by Medical Council of India with 1 year compulsory internship and registration under West Bengal Medical Council.
• Principal Medical Officer (NUHM): MBBS from MCI recognised institution with 1 year compulsory internship and registration under West Bengal Medical Council.
• General Duty Medical Officer: MBBS from MCI recognised institution with 1 year compulsory internship and registration under West Bengal Medical Council.
• Multi Rehabilitation Worker (NPCDCS): Bachelor Degree in Physiotherapy with at least 2 years working experience in a hospital. Desirable: Master Degree in Physiotherapy.
• Ophthalmic Assistant (NPPCB-V): HS (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Life Science and 2-year Diploma in Para Medical Ophthalmic Assistants/Optometry & Ophthalmic Technique recognised by Government of West Bengal or other Govt. recognised institutes of North & East India, with preferential criteria as per notification.
• Ophthalmologist (NPPCB-VI): M.S/M.D in Ophthalmology (MCI recognised) with at least 1 year experience OR D.O.M.S/D.O (MCI registered) with 2 years experience. Desirable: trained in ECCE, PCIOL, SICS and experience at district level hospital.
• Clinical Psychologist (NMHP): Recognised qualification in Rehabilitation Psychology from institution approved by Rehabilitation Council of India OR Post Graduate in Psychology/Clinical Psychology/Applied Psychology with M.Phil in Medical and Social Psychology (3 years full-time) from UGC recognised University and RCI recognised, with minimum 1 year experience.
• Psychiatric Nurse (NMHP): B.Sc in Psychiatric Nursing / M.Sc in Psychiatric Nursing.
• Technical Supervisor (Blood Services): 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biological Science and DMLT/Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT) or PG in Transfusion Medicine/MLT, recognised by Central/State Govt., with working knowledge of computers and post-qualification experience as per notification.
• Specialist MO (Anaesthetist/Paediatric Medicine/Anaesthesiology/Gynaecology & Obstetrics): MBBS degree from MCI recognised institute with Post Graduate Degree/Diploma/DNB in concerned speciality and registration under West Bengal Medical Council.
• UHN Co-Ordinator: Graduate in Social Science from recognised institution with basic computer knowledge (MS-Office etc.), good language skills and 2 years working experience in Health Sector/Addl./Dev./Govt. sector. Preferential: Master Degree in Social Science and specified experience in health sector.
• Medical Officer ANT (DP) / Medical Officer (RNTCP) / other Medical Officer posts: MBBS from MCI recognised institution with 1 year compulsory internship and registration under West Bengal Medical Council.
• Staff Nurse (N+TC): GNM Nursing or B.Sc Nursing course recognised by Indian Nursing Council and registration certificate/provisional certificate from West Bengal Nursing Council. Desirable: experience in hospital setting.
• NPM Assistant (Nutrition Program Management): 10+2 (HS) passed; preference to local candidates (within 5 km) with good command over local language.
• Nutritionist (NPCDS): B.Sc or M.Sc in Food & Nutrition or equivalent course with computer knowledge and ability to read, write and speak in Bengali.
• Medical Assistant (NPCDCS): Graduate (B.A/B.Sc/B.Com) from recognised University with essential knowledge of computer applications (Windows, MS Office, Outlook, Internet etc.).
