NHM Chandigarh Recruitment 2026: National Health Mission (NHM), Chandigarh has released a public notice for the recruitment of Medical Officer posts on a contractual basis under National Health Mission (NHM) and PM Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission (PM-ABHIM). The recruitment is being conducted to fill 07 posts of Medical Officers in different categories. Eligible MBBS candidates can attend the Walk-In-Interview on 15 January 2026 at Chandigarh.

NHM Chandigarh Recruitment 2026 is announced for Emergency Medical Officer, Medical Officer (MCH), Medical Officer (NP-NCD), Medical Officer-STCS (NTEP) and Medical Officer/GDMO posts. Selected candidates will be appointed on a contract basis initially up to 31 March 2027, which may be extended depending on performance and project requirements. The consolidated remuneration for all posts is ₹72,072 per month.

Educational Qualifications

• MBBS Degree from a recognized university with one year compulsory rotatory internship.
• Candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council or Medical Council of India (New Delhi).
• Minimum six months post-qualification work experience or one house job of six months.

Preferential Qualifications (Post-wise)

• Experience in Casualty Department (for Emergency Medical Officer).
• Experience in Gynae & Obs / Paediatrics (for Medical Officer-MCH).
• MD in Pulmonary Medicine / Internal Medicine / TB & Chest / Community Medicine or MPH and experience in NTEP (for Medical Officer-STCS).
• CCC+ (Course on Computer Concepts Plus – 120 hours) for applicable posts.

Age Limit

• Maximum Age Limit: Up to 60 Years.
• Age relaxation is applicable as per NHM and Chandigarh Administration norms.

Salary / Remuneration

• Consolidated Salary: ₹72,072 per month.
