Educational Qualifications

• Biology: Master’s degree in Zoology/Botany/Microbiology/Anthropology/Biology/Human Biology/Life Science/Biochemistry/Genetics/Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Forensic Science with Zoology or Botany at B.Sc level OR B.E./B.Tech in Biotechnology.
• Cyber Forensic: Master’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Application/IT/Physics with specialization in Electronics/Cyber Security OR B.E./B.Tech in CSE/IT/ECE/EEE.
• Physics: Master’s degree in Physics/Forensic Science with Physics studied for at least two years at B.Sc level.
• Chemistry: Master’s degree in Chemistry/Toxicology/Biochemistry/Forensic Science with Chemistry at B.Sc level.
• Ballistics: Master’s degree in Physics/Mathematics/Applied Mathematics/Forensic Science with Physics/Mathematics at B.Sc level.
• Lie-Detection: Master’s degree in Psychology/Criminology.

Age Limit (as on 15 January 2026)

• Junior Scientific Assistant: Not exceeding 27 Years.
• Junior Scientific Officer: Not exceeding 30 Years.
• OBC Candidates: 3 Years Relaxation.
• SC/ST Candidates: 5 Years Relaxation.
• Age Relaxation: As per Government rules.
