Educational Qualifications
- Three Years Full-Time Diploma in Engineering / Technology in relevant discipline from a recognized State Council or Board of Technical Education.
- Full-Time Graduate Degree (Non-Engineering) in relevant discipline from a recognized University/Institution.
- Candidates who passed the qualifying examination in 2022 / 2023 / 2024 / 2025 are only eligible.
- Sandwich diplomas, private diplomas, part-time, distance, short-term or certificate courses are not acceptable.
- Candidates should not have undergone or be undergoing Apprenticeship Training in CSIR or elsewhere.
- Candidates should not have one year or more work experience in any job.
Age Limit (as on 22 January 2026)
- Technician / Diploma Apprentices: Minimum 18 Years and Maximum 24 Years.
- Graduate / Degree Apprentices: Minimum 21 Years and Maximum 26 Years.
- SC/ST Candidates: 5 Years Relaxation.
- OBC (NCL) Candidates: 3 Years Relaxation.
- PwBD Candidates: Up to 10 Years (additional relaxation as applicable).
- Ex-Servicemen: Age relaxation as per Government rules.
