- Essential: Matriculation (10th Pass) + NAC/NTC issued by NCTVT (now NCVT) from Government / Government affiliated Private ITIs.
- Preferred Trade: AOCP (Attendant Operator Chemical Plant) – AOCP (NCVT) candidates will be given preference.
- Feeder Trades (if AOCP not available): IMCP, MMCP, LACP, PPO, Fitter General, Machinist, Turner, Sheet Metal Worker, Electrician, Electronic Mechanic, Boiler Attendant, Mechanic Industrial Electronics, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Mechanic.
- Desirable: Experience/training in Ordnance Factories related to explosives and ammunition manufacturing.
