The GSSSB Recruitment 2025 is announced for 209 Junior Pharmacist, Class-III (Paramedical Cadre) posts. Selected candidates will receive a fixed monthly pay of Rs. 40,800/- for the first five years. After satisfactory completion of five years, candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs. 29,200 to Rs. 92,300 (Level-5) as per the 7th Pay Commission, subject to the outcome of relevant Supreme Court cases. Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharma) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from a recognized university; OR
- Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) with about two years’ prescribed experience in Government/Government Undertaking/Board, hospital or dispensary, or as a Pharmacist/Medical Representative in a pharmaceutical company.
- Must possess basic knowledge of computer applications.
- Must have adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
- Candidate must be registered with Gujarat State Pharmacy Council at the time of appointment.
Age Limit (as on 30 December 2025)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years.
- Maximum Age: 35 Years.
- General Category Female: 5 Years Relaxation.
- Reserved Category Male: 5 Years Relaxation.
- Reserved Category Female: 10 Years Relaxation (Maximum 45 Years).
