Educational Qualifications
- Must have passed Matriculation (10th Class) from a recognized Board.
- Candidate must be a domicile of Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir with a valid Domicile Certificate.
- Nationality: Candidate must be a citizen of India.
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) are not eligible for these posts.
Age Limit
- Open Merit (OM): 18 to 28 Years.
- SC / ST-1 / ST-2 / RBA / ALC / IB / EWS / OBC: 18 to 28 Years.
- In-Service Police Personnel: 18 to 30 Years.
- SPOs & Volunteer Home Guards (VHGs): 18 to 40 Years.
- Ex-Servicemen: As per rules (service period deducted from actual age).
- Age Calculation Date: 01 January 2025.
Physical Standards
- Male: Height – 5 feet 6 inches (minimum), Chest (Unexpanded) – 32 inches, Chest (Expanded) – 33½ inches.
- Female: Height – 5 feet 2 inches (minimum).
- Height relaxation of 2 inches applicable for Gorkha Community/Bot Tribe candidates.
