Educational Qualifications
- Have represented in the respective sports in the following year (2019-20,2020-21,2021-22, 2022-23) or have represented the country in any International Competition/State in National Competition/University team in any National Competition/Represented the University in Inter-University Tournament organized by the University Sports Control Board.

Age Limit
- Candidates’ age limit should be Minimum 18 years and Maximum 25 years.
- Age Relaxation: – No age relaxation (upper or lower) shall be permissible.

Selection Process
- The selected sports trainees will be appointed subject to a medical fitness certificate issued by the Chief Medical Officer, MBPA. The sports trainees will not have any rights/positions/interests at par with the regular employees of the port. Further, these are purely temporary contractual assignments only and their selection will not entitle them to claim/seek for regularization or permanent appointment. A surety bond for an amount of Rs.10,000/- will be signed by the sports trainees.
