Educational Qualifications
- Senior Scientific Officer: Ph.D. in relevant discipline OR Master’s Degree in Psychology/Forensic Psychology/Criminology/Neuropsychology/Clinical/Investigative Psychology with required experience.
- Junior Scientific Officer: Master’s Degree in relevant Psychology/Forensic Science disciplines OR BE/B.Tech / Master’s Degree in relevant Engineering/Science streams with required experience.
- Senior Scientific Assistant: BE/B.Tech or Master’s Degree in relevant Multimedia Forensics/Engineering/Science disciplines.
- Laboratory Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree in Physics, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Forensic Science, Criminology or related subjects from a recognized University.
- Qualifications and experience must be as per post-wise eligibility mentioned in the official notification.
Age Limit (as on 18 January 2026)
- Senior Scientific Officer: Maximum 40 Years.
- Junior Scientific Officer: Maximum 35 Years.
- Senior Scientific Assistant: Maximum 30 Years.
- Laboratory Assistant: 18 to 27 Years (Government servants relaxable up to 40 years).
- Age Relaxation: As per Government of India rules for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen categories.
