Educational Qualifications
- Deputy Chief Fire Officer: Degree in Mechanical/Civil/Electrical Engineering OR Post Graduate Degree in Fire & Safety OR National Fire Service College Sub Officer Course with 10 years Fire Service experience OR Degree with 15 years Fire Service experience.
- Divisional Officer: Degree in Mechanical/Civil/Electrical Engineering OR Post Graduate Degree in Fire & Safety OR NFSC Sub Officer Course with 5 years Fire Service experience OR Degree with 10 years Fire Service experience.
- Station Officer: Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Civil/Electrical/Automobile/Fire/Risk/Safety/Fire Management or related engineering fields OR Degree with 5 years Fire Service experience.
- Sub Officer (Fire): Degree/Diploma in relevant Engineering/Fire/Safety fields OR Degree with Fire Safety Certificate from a recognized institution.
- Driver Operator (Pump): 8th Standard Pass with valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) Driving License and minimum 3 years HMV driving experience.

- Deputy Chief Fire Officer: Maximum 45 Years
- Divisional Officer: Maximum 45 Years
- Station Officer: Maximum 40 Years
- Sub Officer (Fire): Maximum 35 Years
