RRC South Eastern Railway invites online applications from eligible Indian Citizen candidates for engagement/training as Act Apprentice under the Apprentice Act 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules 1992 as amended from time to time in the workshops and other establishments of SER for 1785 vacancies. RRC SER Apprentice applications are being submitted online only and no other mode of submission will be considered.
The fee has to be paid online through ‘Payment Gateway’ while filling out the South Eastern Railway online application form. Interested candidates have to apply online from the official website link of South Eastern Railway. Fees Details
- General/OBC Application fees (non-refundable) Rs. 100/-.
- No fee for SC/ ST/ PWD/ Women candidates.
Pay Scale
- The applicants who will be included finally will get the stipend at the prescribed rate as per the provision.
Selection Process
- Selection will be made on the basis of a merit list (trade-wise) prepared in respect of all the candidates who have applied against the notification in the respective trades. The merit list in each trade is prepared on the basis of the percentage of marks obtained in Matriculation with a minimum of 50% marks. For the purpose of calculating the percentage of Matriculation, the marks obtained by the applicant in all subjects and not any one subject or group of subjects will be considered.
- Thus shortlisted candidates in the respective trades are called for document verification to the extent of 1.5 times of the notified vacancies.
