Educational Qualifications

  • Candidates should have a Master’s Degree (i.e., M.A., M.Sc., M.Com, MBA, MLISC, M.Ed., M.PEd., MCJ, LLM, MCA and M.Tech (CSE & IT only)) are eligible to apply, in the case of the BC/ SC/ ST/ PwD category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in PG is eligible for this Test or equivalent from a recognized Board/ University/ Institution.
  • The Ph.D. Degree holders whose Master’s level examination had been completed by 19th September 1991 (irrespective of the date of declaration of result) shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks (i.e., from 55% to 50%) for appearing in the SET.
  • Candidates having a PG Diploma awarded by an Indian University/ Institute or a Foreign Degree/ Diploma awarded by the Foreign University/ Institute should in their interest, ascertain the equivalence of their Degree/ Diploma with a Master’s Degree of recognized Indian universities from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi.

Important Dates 

  • TS SET Notification Date: 23 December 2022.
  • Starting Date to Apply Online: 30 December 2022.
  • Last Date to Apply Online: 20 January 2023.
  • With a late fee of Rs. 1500/- + Registration Fee on or before 25 January 2023.
  • With a late fee of Rs. 2000/- + Registration Fee on or before 31 January 2023.
  • With a late fee of Rs. 3000/- + Registration Fee on or before 5 February 2023.
  • Edit Option Date: 6 and 7 February 2023.
  • TS SET Exam Date: Exams will be held in 1st or 2nd Week of March 2023.
  • TS SET Hall Ticket Download Date: During the last week of Feb 2023.

Age Limit

  • There is no age limit to apply online for TS SET Exam 2023.
  • Age Relaxation: – SC/ ST /OBC/PWD/ PH Candidates Relaxation as per Government Rule Regulation.
