This recruitment is intended to support strategic initiatives related to cargo logistics, multimodal connectivity, policy development, and data analytics within the aviation ecosystem. Selected candidates will work at the Ministry’s office located at Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan, New Delhi.

Educational Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in any of the following subjects: Economics, Logistics, Statistics, Business Administration (MBA), or Computer Applications (MCA).
• Minimum of 2 years prior work experience with PSU, Government Body, University, or a reputed company/firm/research organization.
• Experience must relate to market research, data analytics, supply chain management, research & policy, preferably in the aviation sector.

Desirable Experience

• Applying statistical, financial, or mathematical modeling techniques for practical problem solving.
• Drafting research reports, policy briefs, and analytical documents to support aviation-sector decisions.
• Data interpretation, survey analysis, business intelligence, and drafting reports for implementation.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct research on air cargo and logistics sector, prepare detailed analytical reports.
• Assist implementation of policy initiatives and strategic cargo sector projects.
• Coordinate with ministries and departments for multimodal connectivity enhancement.
• Data analysis, modeling, forecasting, and preparation of policy recommendations.
• Prepare presentations, minutes of meetings, agenda notes, and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Conduct impact assessments and assist in air-sector pilot studies and policy evaluations.

• Maximum age: 35 years.

Important Dates

Salary / Remuneration

• ₹54,000/- per month (all inclusive).
• Additional annual increment: Up to 6% of consolidated remuneration based on satisfactory performance.

Contract Type & Tenure

• Appointment will be on a purely contractual basis.
• Contract duration: 1 year, extendable by one more year based on performance. Maximum tenure: 3 years (1+1+1).
• Either party may terminate by giving one month’s notice.
