Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from Science faculty from a recognized institution OR
- Bachelor (Fire Engineering) OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Automobile) + Passed Divisional Officer Course from National Fire College, Nagpur OR
- Minimum 3 months senior supervisory training from other Central Government recognized institutions.
- Experience: Minimum 12 years in fire fighting field, including at least 2 years in senior supervisory equivalent post (Pay Level-11 or equivalent).
- Remaining 10 years experience in Pay Level-7 or 9 or equivalent.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 40 Years.
- Maximum Age: 55 Years.
- Age calculated as on 01 August 2025.
- Bihar Government Regular Employees: 5 Years Relaxation (as per rules).
- Ex-Servicemen: 3 Years + service period (Maximum actual age 57 years).
- Age Relaxation: As per Bihar Government rules.
