AP SET 2026 Application: Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test (AP SET) 2026 notification has been released for candidates aspiring to become Assistant Professors / Lecturers in Universities and Colleges of Andhra Pradesh. The notification has been officially issued by the Universities and Colleges of Andhra Pradesh. Interested and eligible candidates who possess a Master’s Degree in the relevant subject can apply in online mode through the official website. The online application process has started from 09 January 2026 and the last date to submit the application form (without late fee) is 09 February 2026 at apset.net.in. The AP SET 2026 examination will be conducted on 28 & 29 March 2026.

Educational Qualifications

• Candidates must have a Master’s Degree or equivalent in the relevant subject from a recognized University.
• General / UR Candidates must have secured at least 55% marks in Post-Graduation.
• SC / ST / BC / PwD / Transgender Candidates must have secured at least 50% marks in Post-Graduation.
• Final year / result-awaiting candidates are also eligible, subject to conditions.

Age Limit

• No Upper Age Limit for appearing in AP SET 2026.
• Candidates of any age can apply if they fulfill the educational eligibility criteria.
• Age limits may apply later at the time of recruitment as per University / State Government rules.
