A total of 343 Vacancies online recruitment for Lecturer (Technical), Lecturer (Non-Technical), Senior Instructor, and Librarian.

Assam Engineering Service Recruitment Board (AESRB) has been announced at 343 Posts in various departments at government polytechnics in Assam. After Applying online mode candidates will be called for a written examination and a Teaching Proficiency Test in the selection process. However, candidates must read the instructions for AESRB Recruitment 2025 in the notification
before applying online for vacant posts under the Higher Education (Technical) Department, Government of Assam. Applications along with the required fee must be submitted by 20th January 2025. Applications without the prescribed application fee will be rejected straightaway.

Educational Qualifications
- Lecturer (Technical) in the Government Polytechnics of Assam
- Level 9A: B.E./B.Tech./B.S. (4-year degree) in relevant discipline with First Class or equivalent.
- Level 10: Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in relevant disciplines with First Class in either of the two.
- Lecturer (Non-Technical) in the Government Polytechnics of Assam
- Level 9A: Master’s degree in the relevant subject with First Class or equivalent.
- Level 10: Master’s degree with First Class and cleared NET/SLET/SET or similar test.
- Senior Instructor in the Government Engineering Colleges & Polytechnics of Assam:
- 3-year Diploma in the relevant branch of Engineering, Technology, Textile, or Architecture (60% marks) from an AICTE-recognized institute.
- Librarian in the Government Engineering Colleges
- Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science or equivalent.
- Knowledge of computerization of Library.
- Lecturer (Technical) in PCPS Girls’ Polytechnic, Bamunimaidam, Guwahati-21
- Level 9A: B. Arch. or a 4-year degree in an allied field with First Class or equivalent.
- Level 10: Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in relevant disciplines with First Class in either of the two.
Age Limit
- Candidates’ age limit should be a Minimum of 21 years and a Maximum of 38 years
- Age Relaxation: – SC/ ST /OBC/PWD/ PH Candidates Relaxation as per Government Rules.
