Educational Qualifications

• Candidate must have passed Matriculation (10th) or equivalent.
• The qualification should be from a board recognized by Central / State / UT Government.
• Original marksheet or certificate is mandatory at the time of enrollment.

Age Limit

• Age Group: 17 to 23 Years.
• Date of Birth Range: 02 July 2005 to 02 January 2009 (Both Inclusive).
• Upper Age at Enrollment: 21 Years.
• Age Calculation: As on the date of registration.

Eligibility Criteria

• Only Unmarried Male Candidates are eligible.
• Candidate must be an Indian Citizen and permanent resident of India.
• Service Duration: 4 Years (Contract Based).

Physical Standards

• Minimum Height: 152 CM.
• Chest Expansion: Minimum 5 CM.
• Weight should be proportionate to height and age.

Medical Standards

• Vision: 6/36 each eye, correctable to 6/9.
• Refractive Error: ±3.5 D.
• Color Vision: CP-III.
• LASIK / PRK Surgery: Not Allowed.
• Normal hearing and minimum 14 dental points required.

Marriage Rules (Very Important)

• Candidate must remain unmarried during the entire 4-year service.
• Marriage during service will lead to immediate discharge.
• Only unmarried candidates are eligible for regular cadre consideration after 4 years.
