UPSSSC Intermediate Level Educational Qualification 2026
Candidates must fulfill the following mandatory requirements on or before December 01, 2026:
- PET 2025 Score Card: All applicants must have appeared in the UPSSSC Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET-2025) and possess a valid positive score card.
- Academic Qualification: Must have passed the 10+2 (Intermediate) examination from the UP Board or any equivalent board recognized by the government.
- Computer Certificate (For VDO, VPO & Social Welfare Supervisor): Along with 12th pass, candidates applying for Gram Panchayat Adhikari, Gram Vikas Adhikari, and Social Welfare Supervisor must hold a CCC Certificate in Computer Operation issued by NIELIT (or an equivalent government-recognized computer certificate).
- For Farm Clerk & Salesman: 12th pass along with 3 years of experience in agriculture or sales work and working knowledge of Hindi.
UPSSSC Intermediate Level Age Limit 2026
The age limit is calculated as on July 01, 2026:
- Minimum Age: 18 Years (21 Years for Farm Clerk)
- Maximum Age: 40 Years (30 Years for Farm Clerk)
- Upper age limit relaxation is applicable for SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen candidates as per Uttar Pradesh government rules.
UPSSSC Intermediate Level Application Fee 2026
At the initial registration stage, all candidates are required to pay only an online processing fee:
- For All Categories (Gen / OBC / EWS / SC / ST / PwBD): ₹25/-
- Candidates who get shortlisted for the Main Written Exam based on their PET-2025 score will have to pay the main examination fee separately before downloading their admit card.
UPSSSC Intermediate Level Selection Process and Exam Pattern 2026
Candidates will be shortlisted for the Main Written Examination at 15 times the number of vacancies based on their PET-2025 normalized score. The Main Exam pattern is as follows:
- Exam Type: Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
- Total Questions & Marks: 100 Questions for 100 Marks
- Exam Duration: 2 Hours (120 Minutes)
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks (1/4th) deducted for each wrong answer.
- Part-1 (65 Marks): Indian History, Polity, Geography, Economy, Rural Development, Current Affairs, Science, Environment & Disaster Management, Data Interpretation, and General Hindi.
- Part-2 (15 Marks): Knowledge of Computer and Information Technology.
- Part-3 (20 Marks): General Knowledge related to the State of Uttar Pradesh.
