Educational Qualifications

• Candidates must have passed ITI in the respective trade from an NCVT recognized institute.
• ITI Pass Certificate should be in the trade applied for.
• Only candidates who have completed ITI in one of the 13 notified trades are eligible.

Experience / Eligibility Conditions

• Candidates should not have already undergone or be currently undergoing Apprenticeship Training at DRDL or elsewhere.
• Candidates terminated from apprenticeship training at DRDL are not eligible.
• Candidates terminated twice from apprenticeship training in other establishments are not eligible.

Salary / Stipend

• Stipend will be paid as per Government of India notifications.
• Stipend is applicable only during the one-year apprenticeship training period.

How to Apply

• Step 1: Online Application
• Visit the Apprenticeship India portal at www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in.
• Complete profile registration and ensure 100% profile completion.
• Upload required documents, signature, and complete Aadhaar verification.
• Apply on or before 29 January 2026 (1700 Hrs).
• Note down the Apprentice Registration Number.

• Step 2: Physical Application Submission
• Submit the duly signed application in prescribed format (Appendix-A).
• Attach self-attested copies of SSC Certificate, ITI Certificate, Aadhaar Card, caste certificate (if applicable), PwD certificate (if applicable), and proof of online application.
• Write on the envelope: “APPLICATION FOR ITI APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING AT DRDL for the period 01-Apr-2026 to 31-Mar-2027”.
• Submit the application in person at DRDL Security Reception or send by post.
