RBI Mumbai Pharmacist Educational Qualification 2026
Applicants must satisfy the following educational and experience criteria to be eligible:
- Must have passed Class 10 (Matriculation) or equivalent examination.
- Must hold a Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) from a recognized institution registered under the Pharmacy Act, 1948. Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) can also apply.
- Must be officially registered with the Maharashtra State Pharmacy Council.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience working as a Pharmacist (candidates with experience in government hospitals or public sector banks will be given preference).
- Must have basic working knowledge of computers.
RBI Mumbai Pharmacist Salary and Working Hours 2026
Selected pharmacists will be paid a fixed rate of ₹600/- per hour. Daily work will be for a maximum of 5 hours per day, which means a candidate can earn up to ₹3,000/- per day. No extra allowances, medical facilities, or perks will be given. This is a purely temporary engagement for a maximum period of 240 days at a stretch.

The selection will be conducted through the following steps:
- Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on their educational qualifications, relevant work experience, and distance of their residence from RBI dispensaries.
- Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a personal interview.
- Medical Test & Document Verification: Candidates selected after the interview will undergo verification of original certificates and a medical fitness test before joining.
