Educational Qualifications

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry as the principal subject from a recognized university or institution.
• Minimum two years of relevant experience in chemical analysis or equivalent posts as prescribed in the notification.
• Basic knowledge of computer applications as per Gujarat Civil Services Rules, 1967.
• Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 Years.
• Maximum Age: 37 Years (as on 13 February 2026).
• Age Relaxation for PwD Candidates:
  • General Male PwD: 10 Years.
  • General Female PwD: 15 Years.
  • Reserved Male PwD: 15 Years.
  • Reserved Female PwD: 20 Years.
