Educational Qualifications

• Scientist/Engineer ‘SD’: PhD in relevant discipline with prescribed M.E./M.Tech/M.Sc (Engg)/M.Sc/B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc qualifications and minimum percentage/CGPA as per notification.
• Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’: M.E./M.Tech or M.Sc or B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc in relevant discipline with minimum marks/CGPA as specified post-wise.
• Professional qualifications obtained through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) are not eligible.
• Qualifications must be completed within the prescribed duration of the course.

Age Limit (as on 12 February 2026)

• Scientist/Engineer ‘SD’ (Post Codes 01–03): 18 to 35 Years.
