Manipuri District Court Jobs 2024: In the middle of the last century, the Mainpuri judgeship managed judicial affairs for three districts: Mainpuri, Etah, and Etawah. Etah separated from this judgeship in the last decade of the century, and thereafter, the district judge held court in Mainpuri and Etawah only. This arrangement continued until 1958 when Etawah became a separate judgeship. Consequently, the district judge of Mainpuri had jurisdiction over the Mainpuri district exclusively.
The incidence of crimes in the district escalated to a point where the district judge could not manage the workload alone. As a result, temporary civil and session judges were appointed to aid in judicial proceedings. The new Criminal Procedure Code came into effect on April 1, 1974, and since May of that year, the cadre of civil and session judges has been replaced by additional district and session judges.
