Educational Qualifications

  • Candidates should have B.E/B. Tech, CA, Diploma, Graduation Degree or equivalent from a recognized Board/ University/ Institution.
  • Assistant Manager/ (Civil): B.E/B. Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a Govt. recognized University/Institute with a minimum of 60% marks for applying for candidates for Unreserved, EWS& OBC vacancies and with a minimum of 50% marks for applying for candidates for reserved vacancies of SC only.
  • Assistant Manager/ (Electrical): B.E/B.Tech in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent from a Govt. recognized University/Institute with a minimum of 60% marks for applying for candidates for Unreserved, EWS & OBC vacancies.
  • Assistant Manager/ (S&T): B.E/B.Tech in Electronics/Electronics & Communication or Equivalent from a Govt. recognized University/Institute with a minimum of 60% marks for applying for candidates for Unreserved& EWS vacancies.
  • Assistant Manager/ (Accounts): CA from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or ICWA (i.e. CMA) from The Institute of Cost Accountants of India. No minimum Percentage of marks is required.
  • Jr Engineer/(Civil): Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a Govt. recognized University/Institute with a minimum of 60% marks for applying for candidates for UR, EWS & OBC vacancies & with a minimum of 50%for applying for candidates for marks for SC/ST candidates for reserved vacancies only.
  • Jr Engineer/(Electrical): Three years Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent from a Govt. recognized University/Institute with a minimum of 60% marks for UR, EWS& OBC vacancies and with a minimum of 50% marks for reserved vacancies of SC/ST only.

  • Office Assistant (HR): Three/Four years of Graduation in any discipline from a Govt. recognized University/Institute with a minimum of 60% marks.

  • UP Metro Notification Release Date: 1 November 2022.
  • Starting Date for Submission of Online Application: 1 November 2022 (10:00 hrs).

  • For UR, EWS & OBC Candidates Application Fee Rs.590/- (non-refundable).

Pay Scale

  • Assistant Manager, Jr Engineer, Account Assistant, Office Assistant: Pay Scale (IDA) in Rs.25000-51000 to Rs.50000-160000.

Cost of Training & Surety Bond:

  • The candidate selected for the Executive or Non-executive post will have to deposit the non-refundable cost of Training (indicated below) through a demand draft in favor of “Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited” before joining in UPMRC.

ii) The candidate selected for the Executive post will also have to execute a Surety Bond of Rs. 300000 to serve the corporation for a minimum period of three years (exclusive of the period in which he/she remained on LWP or EOL) and also three months prior notice or leave salary in lieu of short notice period will be required before seeking resignation from the corporation. However, Management reserves the right not to accept resignation if the circumstances so warrant, such as pending/anticipated disciplinary proceedings, exigencies of work or for any other reasons as considered appropriate by the Management.
iii) The candidate selected for the Non-executive post will have to execute a surety bond of Rs.1,50,000/- to serve the corporation for a minimum period of three years (exclusive of the period in which he/she remained on LWP or EOL) and also three months prior notice or leave salary in lieu of short notice period, will be required before seeking resignation from the corporation. However, Management reserves the right not to accept resignation if the circumstances so warrant, such as pending/anticipated disciplinary proceedings, exigencies of work or for any other reasons as considered appropriate by the Management.

iv) The amount of the Surety bond will be forfeited in case of non-compliance with the above conditions. Also, in case of the candidate joins any other Government Organisations/PSUs/CPSEs/Railways, etc through the proper channel where the transfer of surety bond is accepted, UPMRC will not transfer the surety bond amount to any such organization and the candidate has to deposit the Surety Bond Amount to UPMRC in case of non-completion of the prescribed bond period as specified above. In case of candidate joins from another Government Organizations/PSUs/CPSEs/Railways etc who transfer a surety bond on the resignation of their employees to UPMRC, that surety bond will be accepted by UPMRC only on the condition that the concerned candidate will have to execute the surety bond with UPMRC to serve the
Corporation for a minimum period of three years (exclusive of the period in which he/she remained on LWP or EOL) in addition to bond of their previous employer

Pay & Emoluments

  • The pay & emoluments for direct recruit employees shall be as per pay scales under the IDA (Industrial DA) as
    applicable from time to time and other benefits which include Perks etc. as per extant rules of the Corporation as applicable to Direct Recruit employees from time to time.

Selection Process

  • Candidates will be selected based on a Computer-Based Test (CBT), Written Test, Document Verification & Medical examination.
  • For the post of Assistant Manager (Civil) (postcode-E01), Assistant Manager(Electrical) (postcode-E02), and Assistant Manager(S&T) (postcode-E03), the selection methodology will comprise a two-stage process –A written Test, followed by document verification & Medical examination in Executive( Technical) category.
  • For the post of Assistant Manager/Accounts (postcode-E04), the selection methodology will comprise a two-stage process –A written Test followed by Document Verification & Medical Examination in the Executive (Non-Technical) category.
  • For the post of Jr. Engineer, (post codes NE01, NE02, NE03) the selection methodology will comprise a two-stage process – A written Test followed by Document Verification & Medical examination in Aye-Three (A-3) category.
  • For the post of Account Assistant (post-code NE04) and Office Assistant (HR) (post-code NE05), the selection methodology will comprise a two-stage process – A written Test followed by Document Verification & Medical examination in Cee-One (C-1) category.
