Educational Qualifications

• A Graduate Degree from a recognized university.
• Diploma in Sports Coaching in the related sport discipline from the National Institute of Sports under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, or
• Postgraduate Diploma in Sports Coaching (PGDSC) from Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education, Gwalior or Central Sports University, or
• Equivalent qualification from a sports university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) or Bihar Sports University.
• Sports Achievement: Candidate should have represented the country in Olympics/Commonwealth Games/Asian Games or represented the state in recognized national championships, or participated in All India Inter-University/Junior/National Youth Championships as per notification rules.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 21 Years.
• Maximum Age: 37 Years.
• Unreserved Women: Up to 40 Years.
• Backward Class / Extremely Backward Class (Men/Women): Up to 40 Years.
• SC / ST (Men/Women): Up to 42 Years.
• Disabled Candidates: 10 Years Age Relaxation.
• Age Relaxation: As per BTSC rules.
