BMRCL Assistant Security Officer Eligibility 2026
Candidates must satisfy the following service and language requirements:
- Must be a serving or retired Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) or equivalent from the Indian Army, Navy, or Air Force.
- Serving or retired personnel from State Police departments or Central Paramilitary forces (CAPF, CRPF, BSF, CISF) in the rank of Sub-Inspector, Inspector, or Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) can also apply.
- Defense personnel who are due to retire on or before December 31, 2026, are also eligible.
- Knowledge of the Kannada language is compulsory for all candidates.
BMRCL Assistant Security Officer Salary and Age Limit 2026
The maximum age limit is 62 years as of October 09, 2026. Selected personnel will receive a monthly consolidated pay based on their age group:
- Candidates below 60 years of age: ₹32,950/- per month (Contract tenure of 3 years).
- Candidates above 60 years of age: ₹30,000/- per month (Contract tenure of 1 year).
- Allowances will also be paid as per the company rules.
BMRCL Assistant Security Officer Selection Process 2026
The selection will be done through three main stages:
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT): Candidates need to complete a 1.5 km run within 10 to 11.5 minutes (depending on age). Candidates must bring a medical fitness certificate from a government hospital to participate in this test.
- Written Test: A 1-hour test in English or Kannada covering General Knowledge and Essay Writing.
- Interview: Shortlisted candidates who pass the physical and written exams will be called for a personal interview.
