Kerala High Court Telephone Operator Educational Qualification 2026

Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC) community in Kerala must fulfill the following requirements on or before the last date of application:

• Must have passed Plus Two (12th Standard) or an equivalent examination.
• Must hold a Diploma in Electronics awarded by a government-recognized institution.
• Must have at least 6 months of work experience as a Telephone Operator or Receptionist along with experience in computer operations.
• Must be fluent in speaking English, Malayalam, and Hindi.

Applicants must have been born between January 02, 1981, and January 01, 2008 (both dates inclusive). Upper age limit relaxation is given to Ex-Servicemen, widows (up to 5 years), and differently-abled candidates (10 to 15 years), subject to a maximum age limit of 50 years.

The selection will be based on an Interview, or a Written Test followed by an Interview, depending on the number of applicants:

• Objective Written Test (if conducted): A 75-minute test held at Ernakulam consisting of 100 multiple-choice questions for 100 marks. The paper covers Diploma in Electronics subjects (50 marks), General Knowledge & Current Affairs (30 marks), and English Language Proficiency (20 marks). Each right answer gives 1 mark, while 0.25 (1/4) mark is deducted for each wrong answer.
• Personal Interview: The interview carries 10 marks. Candidates must score at least 35% marks in the interview to be included in the final ranked list.
