CWC Educational Qualification 2026

Candidates must possess the required degree or diploma on or before November 15, 2026:

• Assistant Manager (General): 2-year Post Graduation Degree or Post Graduation Diploma in any discipline. No prior experience is required.
• Assistant Manager (Technical): B.E. / B.Tech in Agriculture, Food Technology, Food Science, Food Technology Management, or Biotechnology. No prior experience is required.
• Assistant Manager (Finance): Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce with 3 years of post-qualification experience in Finance & Accounting, OR Graduation in any stream with CA Intermediate / CMA Intermediate and 3 years of experience.
• Assistant Manager (Engineering – Civil / Electrical / Mechanical): B.E. / B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering respectively. No prior experience is required.
• Junior Executive (General): Graduation degree in any stream along with working knowledge of computer applications and MS Office. No prior experience is required.
• Junior Executive (Technical): B.Sc. degree in Agriculture, Botany, Zoology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Food Science, or Chemistry along with working knowledge of computers and MS Office.

CWC Age Limit 2026

The age limit is calculated as on November 15, 2026:

• Minimum Age: 18 Years for all posts.
• Maximum Age: 28 Years for all posts (Candidates must have been born between November 16, 1998, and November 15, 2008, both dates inclusive).
• Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), 10 years for PwBD, and as per government rules for Ex-Servicemen.

The non-refundable application fee and intimation charges must be paid online via Debit/Credit Card, UPI, or Net Banking:

CWC Selection Process and Exam Pattern 2026

The selection process varies according to the post code:

• For Assistant Manager Posts (Post Codes 01 to 06): Selection is based on an Online Test, Document Verification, and a Personal Interview (30 Marks). The weightage ratio of the Online Test and Interview is 85:15, and candidates will be called for the interview in a 1:5 ratio.
• For Junior Executive Posts (Post Codes 07 and 08): Selection is based purely on the marks scored in the Online Test followed by Document Verification (shortlisted in a 1:3 ratio). There is no interview for Junior Executive posts.
• Online Exam Structure: The test consists of 200 objective multiple-choice questions for 200 marks (Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, English Language, and Subject Knowledge where applicable) plus 2 Descriptive Test questions in English for 30 marks. The total duration is 3 hours (180 minutes), with a negative marking of 0.25 (1/4th) marks in the objective sections.
