Through this 12-month on-the-job training programme, LIC HFL aims to fill a total of 232 vacancies across 25 states and union territories.
The online application process started on October 20, 2026, via the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal and the BFSI Sector Skill Council of India (BFSI SSC) portal. After applying on the NATS portal, eligible candidates will receive an email invitation from the BFSI Sector Skill Council of India (BFSI SSC) with a secure link to pay the non-refundable examination fee online:
- General / EWS / OBC (Male Candidates): ₹800/- + GST
- General / EWS / OBC (Female & Transgender Candidates): ₹600/- + GST
- SC / ST Candidates: ₹200/- + GST
- PwBD Candidates: ₹200/- + GST

LIC HFL Apprentice Eligibility Criteria and Age Limit 2026
Applicants must satisfy the following age, academic, and prior training conditions as on the cut-off date of October 01, 2026:
- Age Limit (as on October 01, 2026): Minimum 20 Years and Maximum 25 Years.
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed their Graduation (Bachelor’s Degree) in any stream from a university or institute recognized by UGC or AICTE on or before October 01, 2026 (and not before October 01, 2001).
- Prior Apprenticeship Condition: Candidates must not have an ongoing, terminated, or previously completed apprenticeship contract with any other organization.
LIC HFL Apprentice Monthly Stipend Details
Selected apprentices will receive a fixed monthly stipend during the 12-month training period based on their posted city category:
- Metro Cities (Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune, Surat): ₹16,650/- per month
- All Other Cities: ₹14,150/- per month

LIC HFL Apprentice Entrance Exam Pattern 2026
The online entrance examination will be conducted by the BFSI Sector Skill Council of India in a remote-proctored mode, allowing candidates to take the test from home using a camera-enabled smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop. Candidates shortlisted from the test will be invited for Document Verification and a Personal Interview at LIC HFL offices.

Eligible graduates must complete a two-step online registration process before November 01, 2026:
- Step 1 (NATS Registration & Application): Visit the official Government of India NATS portal at nats.education.gov.in and log in to the Student section (or register first to obtain your unique NATS Enrolment ID).
