Eligibility Criteria for Re-engagement

• Applicants must be retired revenue officials from the cadre of Tehsildar, Naib Tehsildar, or Kanungo.
• Must have rendered a minimum of 5 years of regular service in any wing of the Revenue Department of Himachal Pradesh prior to superannuation.
• No departmental inquiry or disciplinary proceedings should be pending or contemplated against the applicant at the time of retirement or application.
• Applicants must possess sound health and produce a Medical Fitness Certificate issued by a Government Hospital / Chief Medical Officer.

Age Limit Details

• The candidate applying for re-engagement should not be more than 65 years of age as on 31 October 2026.
• In case the number of applications exceeds the available vacancies, preference will be given to candidates who are younger (junior in age).

Key Terms and Conditions of Engagement

Applicants should take note of the important service terms established by the administration:

• Initial Tenure: The re-engagement will be for a duration of 3 months in the first instance, which may be extended further based on work performance and pendency of revenue cases.
• Temporary Service: The appointment is purely stop-gap and temporary, liable to termination at any time without notice upon arrival of regular officials or clearance of revenue backlog.
• Leave Entitlement: Engaged officials will be entitled to only 1 day of Casual Leave after completing one month of active duty. No other leaves will be permitted.
• Medical and Travel Benefits: Appointees continue to receive retiree medical reimbursement facilities and are eligible for official tour TA/DA at minimum counterpart rates.
• Performance Review: Monthly remuneration will be released upon submission of a satisfactory work conduct certificate verifying disposal of revenue cases.
