The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), North Western Railway (NWR), Jaipur has released an official notification (Advt. No. 04/2026 NWR/AA) for the engagement of Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961. Through this mega railway recruitment drive, a total of 2,008 trade apprentice vacancies will be filled across various divisions and workshops of North Western Railway.

The online registration window opened on October 07, 2026, on the official RRC Jaipur portal. Interested candidates who have passed Class 10th along with an ITI certificate in the relevant trade can submit their online application forms on or before the closing date of November 06, 2026.

Railway NWR Apprentice Application Fee

Applicants from General, OBC, and EWS categories are required to pay a nominal application fee online, whereas reserved category and female applicants are exempted from paying any fee.

• SC / ST / PwBD (PH) / All Female Candidates: ₹0/- (Nil)

RRC NWR Apprentice Age Limit 2026

The age of the applicants will be calculated as on the cut-off date of November 06, 2026. Candidates must fall within the following age bracket:

• Minimum Age: 15 Years
• Maximum Age: 24 Years
• Age Relaxation: Relaxation in the upper age limit is provided to SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen candidates in accordance with Indian Railways recruitment rules.
