UHBVNL is registered under the Companies Act-1956 and started its operations on 1 July 1999. UHBVNL/HVPN inherited the distribution business of the erstwhile Haryana State Electricity Board pursuant to the Second Transfer Scheme notified on 1st July 1999 by the Government of Haryana.

According to the official advertisement number 3/2024 Category No. 1 of UHBVN, HSSC has started the online application process link for the UHBVN recruitment of ALM posts for General-11, SC-5, BCA-4, and BCB-3 vacancies on 1 April 2024 on its official portal @hssc.gov.in.
Interested candidates between 18 to 42 years of age will be selected based on a written exam but they will not have to give any application form to submit their Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited online form.
