UPSSSC Sports Directorate Educational Qualification 2026

Candidates must fulfill the following academic and experience requirements along with a valid UPSSSC PET score card:

• Sub Sports Officer (Up Kreedadhikari): Must hold a Graduation Degree from a recognized university along with a Diploma in Coaching in the relevant sport and at least 2 years of coaching experience. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in organizing sports tournaments, a Physical Education certificate, or an NCC ‘B’ certificate.
• Assistant Coach: Must hold a Graduation Degree from a recognized university along with a Diploma in Sports Coaching and 2 years of coaching experience in the concerned sport.
• Lifesaver (Jeevan Rakshak): Must have passed Class 10 (High School) from a recognized board along with 2 years of practical experience as a lifesaver.
• Groundman: Must have passed Class 10 (High School) from the UP Board or an equivalent board with practical experience in preparing sports grounds and courts, plus basic knowledge of plants, seeds, and grafting.

UPSSSC Sports Directorate Age Limit 2026

The age of the candidate will be calculated as on July 01, 2026:

• Minimum Age: 18 to 21 Years (Post-wise)
• Maximum Age: 40 Years
• Upper age limit relaxation is applicable for SC, ST, OBC, and other reserved category candidates as per Uttar Pradesh government rules.
