Educational Qualifications
- A Master’s Degree in Physical Education and Sports / Physical Education / Sports Science with 55% marks or equivalent grade as per UGC Regulations 2018.
- Record of having represented the University/College at Inter-University / Inter-Collegiate competitions or State/National Championships.
- Must have cleared NET conducted by UGC/CSIR or similar accredited test like SLET/SET, or possess a Ph.D. Degree as per UGC Regulations.
- Candidates registered for Ph.D. prior to 11 July 2009 are exempted from NET/SLET/SET subject to conditions.
- NET/SLET/SET not required for disciplines where such tests are not conducted.
- Must have passed the physical fitness test as per prescribed norms.
- OR Asian Games / Commonwealth Games medal winners with a Post-Graduate degree.
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: Not more than 50 Years (as on 01 January 2026).
- Usual age relaxation is admissible as per rules.
- Three years relaxation for regular teachers employed in Universities, Aided and Government Colleges in Kerala.
