Income Tax Delhi Sports Quota Vacancy and Salary Details 2026

The total 119 vacancies are distributed across three main posts along with 7th CPC pay levels:

Income Tax Delhi Educational and Sports Qualification 2026

Applicants must satisfy both the academic and sports eligibility criteria for their chosen post:

• Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): Must have passed Class 10 (Matriculation) or equivalent from a recognized education board.
• Stenographer Grade II: Must have passed Class 12 (10+2) or equivalent from a recognized board, along with a dictation speed of 80 words per minute for 10 minutes and transcription on a computer in 50 minutes (English) or 65 minutes (Hindi).
• Tax Assistant: Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree (Graduation) from a recognized university and possess a data entry speed of 8,000 key depressions per hour on a computer.
• Sports Eligibility (For All Posts): Candidates must be meritorious sportspersons who have represented the Country in an International Competition, a State/UT in a National Level Championship, a University in an Inter-University Tournament, or a State School Team in the National School Games in any of the notified sports disciplines.

The age limit for each post is as follows:

• For Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): 18 to 25 Years
• For Tax Assistant & Stenographer Grade II: 18 to 27 Years
• Age Relaxation: Upper age limit relaxation of up to 5 years is granted to General/OBC meritorious sportspersons, and up to 10 years is granted to SC/ST sportspersons as per Government of India guidelines.

The selection of candidates will be completed through the following stages:
