Mandatory Aadhaar Biometric Verification Guidelines

The Railway Recruitment Boards have issued strict instructions regarding Aadhaar-based biometric verification at the test centers. All candidates must follow these rules to ensure smooth entry on the day of the exam:

• Aadhaar Biometric Authentication: Biometric verification linked to Aadhaar will be performed at the examination center before entry into the test hall. Candidates must bring their original Aadhaar Card or a clear printout of their e-verified Aadhaar.
• Complete Online Aadhaar Verification: Candidates who have not yet verified their Aadhaar details are advised to log in to rrbapply.gov.in using their credentials and complete Aadhaar authentication ahead of time.
• Keep Aadhaar Biometrics Unlocked: All applicants—including those who already verified their Aadhaar during form submission—must ensure that their Aadhaar biometrics are in an unlocked condition in the UIDAI portal before visiting the exam center.
• Updated Aadhaar Details: The Aadhaar card must display the candidate’s accurate name, date of birth (matching the Class 10th certificate), father’s name, address, and recent photograph. Candidates who have not updated their biometrics after turning 15 years old should get them updated prior to the examination.
